AM PM Staffing Services is seeking dedicated Bus Monitors to work in St. Charles Parish. The ideal candidates should be responsible for caring for children while transporting them to and from school.
Bus Monitors provide support within the student transportation services area with specific responsibilities for assisting special education students during transport to and from school and/or special activities; and ensuring the safety and sanitation of assigned vehicles.
Pay rate: $15/hour
4 ½ hours per day
Responsibilities of Contracted Monitors:
- Assist during student loading/unloading
- Support drivers with behavior management
- Follow all student safety protocols
- Support students with special needs
- Report incidents to Transportation
- Use safety equipment properly (seat belts, harnesses, wheelchairs, etc.)
Expectations for Availability & Reliability
- Maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality
- Adhere to dress code (including shoes with backs)
- Limit phone use to emergency only
- Be flexible to ride any route, any time
- Be available on short notice, especially for PM shifts
- Maintain professional conduct at all times
